I’ve told many young people that the secret to success is to first find your passion and then, find a way to earn a living doing it. You’ll never have to “work” a day in your life.
I am fortunate to have been able to earn a living doing something I love for the last 35 years...writing, recording and performing music! It hasn’t always been easy and I certainly haven’t done it alone. Without the love and support of family and friends, it would’ve been a much more difficult journey. I realized early that life was too short and its meaning too elusive to not live it doing something you love.
I’ve played piano as long as I can remember. I made a guitar when I was 11 and got my first set of drums at 12. I’ve been rockin’ & rollin’ ever since. From “The Spectres” to “Kinfolk” to “Shotgun,” “Heroes,” “Evanzeddy,” “Benny Mardones and the Hurricanes,” “The Johnny Van Zant Band” and “The Electric City Blues Band,” it’s been quite a ride.
