Man, us Tiger fans have run the gammit have we not?  And I don’t even know what a gammit IS or if I’ve spelled it correctly.  Nonetheless, spelling aside, what a frickin’ year we’ve had thus far.  Who thought after we lost to Maryland that we would win 6 in a row?  Who?  Let me see the hands? 

I’ll admit, after we gave TCU all they could handle, I thought we would win 7 in a row.  We looked good early season, at least for us.  Then the MD game really confused me.  WTF, mate?  Who knew what after that?  Not I.  No sir.

Well, we got who we got (and ain’t that a great thing) and look where we got to!  Because of the youth and drive and spirit in our ranks (frosh QB, frosh HC, frosh OC) and out and out HUNGER, the Tigers have become a FORCE in college football AGAIN!  Don’t you just love it?  NO?  Then you are just not paying attention!

I love the way Dabo coaches and teaches that the most important play is the “next” play, not the last play.  He teaches and coaches the kids to “forget” their mistakes and concentrate on being successful.  Kevin Steele has been the purveyor of NEVER looking at the scoreboard, and only focussing on the “next” play for his defense.  They have adjusted to offensive coordinators and schemes time and time again mid-quarter and and at halftime to succeed during this run.  They have never lost their aggressiveness or pride and have prevailed more oft than not. 

I love this Tiger team!  They’ve got it.  And no matter what happens from here on out, I’ve seen enough to know that Terry Don Phillips made ANOTHER great choice for a Clemson coach.  There is PRIDE in Tiger Town once again.  The Tigers won’t let us down!
