Man, us Tiger fans have run the gammit have we not? And I don’t even know what a gammit IS or if I’ve spelled it correctly. Nonetheless, spelling aside, what a frickin’ year we’ve had thus far. Who thought after we lost to Maryland that we would win 6 in a row? Who? Let me see the hands?

I’ll admit, after we gave TCU all they could handle, I thought we would win 7 in a row. We looked good early season, at least for us. Then the MD game really confused me. WTF, mate? Who knew what after that? Not I. No sir.

Well, we got who we got (and ain’t that a great thing) and look where we got to! Because of the youth and drive and spirit in our ranks (frosh QB, frosh HC, frosh OC) and out and out HUNGER, the Tigers have become a FORCE in college football AGAIN! Don’t you just love it? NO? Then you are just not paying attention!

I love the way Dabo coaches and teaches that the most important play is the “next” play, not the last play. He teaches and coaches the kids to “forget” their mistakes and concentrate on being successful. Kevin Steele has been the purveyor of NEVER looking at the scoreboard, and only focussing on the “next” play for his defense. They have adjusted to offensive coordinators and schemes time and time again mid-quarter and and at halftime to succeed during this run. They have never lost their aggressiveness or pride and have prevailed more oft than not.

I love this Tiger team! They’ve got it. And no matter what happens from here on out, I’ve seen enough to know that Terry Don Phillips made ANOTHER great choice for a Clemson coach. There is PRIDE in Tiger Town once again. The Tigers won’t let us down!

Go Tigers! Fight! Win!

Who made you so fearful?

And more importantly, why?

The implicit warnings of past leaders now comes in to focus. The military/industrial/media complex plan of taking over America has come to pass. All humanity needs to unite against this foe, for it is a formidable one. However, that requires the focus of an informed populace. Unfortunately, we cannot and will not be informed by the corporately controlled media, all of whom are the very same corporations that benefit financially from "shocking and awing" us in to the fear and darkness of their hateful rhetoric and lies. They have spent trillions and trillions of dollars to make us feel that our differences require safety mechanisms that "they" happen to sell. And they foment and fan the flames of those differences from the vantage point of being able to completely control and manipulate them as they are created.

Problem-Reaction-Solution

I don't blame the on air "talent" and/or producers of this dis-info. They are "bubbled" workers doing their jobs. They believe what they're saying is good, solid information I am sure. Their insulation from the truth is the same as yours and mine if we don't step outside and see the chemtrails. Or the cancer cures. Or the wind energy or solar energy alternatives. Or the magnetic motors. Or the numerous ways that the "hemp plant" could save the world. They just couldn't PROFIT FROM IT the way they would like!

So here is your chance to PROFIT FROM IT!

Find alternate sources for your news and information. Turn OFF your television. It is crap. And for god's sake, do not listen to talk radio. It is below crap.

Understand that socialism, communism, fascism, and capitalism are ALL forms of control. And they all have good and bad, equally. Understand that christianity, hinduism, catholicism, judaism, and atheism are ALL systems of control with equal parts both good and bad.

But for the survival of the planet, understand that ZIONISM is only bad. It is a racist ideology that promotes hatred, deceit, coercion, bribery, murder, infiltration, lying, the "noble lie," assassination, deception, war, and virtually all things contrary to humankind co-existence. And then realize that ZIONISM is in the process of taking over the world. Yes, 'tis true.

If that makes me a racist... than I accept that moniker. However, I am firmly and with honest conscious of the belief that ZIONISM is a political movement and NOT a race of humanity. It is a political movement by a group of elitists that firmly feel they "know what is best" for the future of humankind and “eff” you if you do not agree. Profit is their motive, and your life and your existence is totally secondary to their goal of world domination. You represent a "tradable commodity" to them and your family and happiness are directly related to their "bottom line." You are the "goy" which means "cattle" and they are the "chosen people." A heart warming story, huh? Unless you're a goy!

Do you know the meaning of "reprehensible?" It is synonymous with ZIONISM.

ZIONISM is a belief system that needs to be disappeared from the "human belief system." I am not sure that it is possible, sans removing all of it’s followers humans from earth. And that is a task that cannot be undertaken lightly or without serious repercussions. Why?

All of our belief systems as inhabitants of earth are both and at once ours, and the conscript of generations of passed knowledge and experience. "At once" because we simultaneously experience the feelings of our own humanity and the humanity of our ancestors, without prejudice. That, in a nutshell, is "life" on planet earth. Hence, we are given little choice to discern, nor a roadmap to make our own way through the maze of what we think of as "humanity." The model of organized religion certainly has it's misgivings, and the model of "civility" has even more built in dichotomy.

A person with a "brain" is a misguided rocket that could hit any target any where any time without warning. And, save the few unfortunate ones, we are pretty much all armed with a brain. This "brain" is also loaded with concepts and ideas, some with merit and some without, but loaded nonetheless. Ideas that are compassionate seem to seek compassionate replication and ideas that are not, seem to seek the same.

So what is really going on here? Allow me to ramble a bit more...

Thousands of years ago, and at the beginning of human intelligence, there was a group of humans who discovered as humans are wont to do, that the species was a "trusting and easily manipulated crowd" if properly indoctrinated. Yes, they were smarter than the herd. They used this knowledge to make themselves the "leaders" of the herd. The more they led, the more they learned. Even the few who had moral principles soon became enamored with their ability to control and even distract the "herd." With their newfound power, they began to inflict their opinions and politics on their "flock" sometimes as an experiment, and sometimes with prudence. Nonetheless, they learned that the "flock" could be contained and manipulated by leaking and inventing from whole cloth, information. And this information could be ANYTHING. ANYTHING AT ALL. And because the information was "controlled and contrived", these leaders soon learned that their "flocks" were precisely that; an easily and conveniently manipulated herd of humans that followed almost precisely the direction that they were given. The "power" of that was intoxicating to these few who knew. They soon declared themselves KINGS and QUEENS and declared that anyone who disavowed their proclamation was a heretic and/or a witch. The easily cowed and extremely malleable populace was enamored with their new found and exalted leaders and the oligarchy was born.

LONG LIVE THE QUEEN!

Soon, like in a couple of hundred years or so, the "crowned and blue-blooded oligarchs" discovered that they were grossly outnumbered by the peasants. Though they had ruled and controlled comfortably for hundreds of years, the peasants had grown weary and some were unfortunately becoming "educated" in the ways of their conscription. The oligarchs needed a plan to avoid their sure death sentences and hangings at the stake.

WAR!

"What? and How?" asked the Queen. "Well," responded some Simeon Rothchild, "If we can just use our considerable influence with the information networks to the goy, we can convince them that they are being threatened. Ahem, we all know how they respond to that, do not we?"

"Go on." responds the Queen.

"If we simply use our money and influence through existing communication channels, we can have them fighting each other instead of us!"

"Tell us more!" pled the Queen.

"We can hire agents of discontent to convince the goy that their differences are the very seeds of their problems. And that they must fight each other to quell the uprisings of their discontent."

"Aha...brilliant!" says the Queen. "More..."

"And, because the goy are so ignorant of the money system, we can loan money to both sides to fund their folly and profit in either case, using our agents to direct and focus their hatreds and fears, which are so obviously inherent, but to us alone and only us."

"Genious. Plus, we still hold the seat of power and control the entire race without the goy having the slightest clue," exalts the Queen.

"At your cervix, my Lord."

'Make it so," replied the Queen. And so the Rothchilds DID make it so. And so it IS.

And thousands of years later, here we are expecting GOD (Santa Claus) or JESUS (The Easter Bunny) or some divine intervention (which they alone have created and do not believe themselves, quite obviously) to save us from ...THEM!

Do you believe that George W. Bush is a "Christian" after he sanctioned the murder of over 1.5 Million innocent human beings in Iraq and Afghanistan? Honestly?

Hiroshima? Nagasaki? Christian Presidents afraid of a Christian GOD did this?

C'mon now! And do you feel that you have MORE information than the President of the United States regarding the afterlife and it's implications?

Are you still afraid of your religion? Relax, because our leaders know more than you, and if THEY aren’t going to hell, NOBODY IS! I’m just saying.

My point is, somewhat obviously, there is no hell and there is no heaven. This is it. When you're done you're done.

Don't live for the "afterlife." Live for the present life and leave no regrets. There are no guarantees. Period.

You are what you are and who you are you have very little to do with that. That's a fact. Your GOD or your FEAR of death and desire for some "afterlife" is an illusion promoted by aforementioned controlling influences that desire to make a profit from your short and beautiful time on planet earth. They are not deserving and you are not imperiled to that meager existence. Make your way. Resist. They are not the boss of you.

Question everything. Keep your eyes and ears open. Live each day to the fullest. Resist authority at every turn. Every turn.

Keep a gun or four and do NOT register them. Fight tyranny. Stay focused on freedom and the US Constitution. The Constitution is YOUR prime protection.

Fight all attempts to alter the US Constitution. Don't fall for the "its outdated, it doesn't apply, its a piece of paper" condemnations. The US Constitution is a work of art,
a timeless, living and breathing document for any time or place in history. It is filled with much brilliance and such understanding. Really. It is undeniable.

Remember this, no leader should ever pretend that his job is to "protect America." EVERY elected leader of America, as well as it’s citizens, swear to uphold and "Protect the US CONSTITUTION against enemies foreign AND DOMESTIC!"

That document, alone, protects the peoples of America and provides legal restitution and
relief as a human being and citizen of America. Any change to it or "signing statement" or subversion of it constitutes a violation that nullifies it and makes any citizen living under it, a "free" and sovereign citizen.

Read it, know it, understand it and fight for it. it is NOT just a goddamned piece of paper.

I promise.
.

To be continued....
Thank heavens there will likely be no more “Bowden Bowls” in Clemson’s Death Valley. I never trusted them, anyway. Chances are, if Tommy was still around, he’d let his dad “take” this one, since Papa isn’t feelin’ the love down in Tallahassee. I know that’s hard to wrap your head around, but I could NEVER seem to NOT let that figure in to the outcome of those games. And though I’m certain that Dabo respects the elder Bowden, he would like to stick it to them in the Valley on Satdy, I promise!

Which brings me to this: Man, would Papa Bowden evermore like to beat the Tigers this year! He’ll have his team ready, you can count on that, because he would like to show the Clemson faithful what a mistake they made letting his son go. There’s not doubt that the Noles can play, but there is some doubt as to WHEN they will play and when they won’t. However, I doubt that that will bring anything less than their “A” game to the Valley this weekend.

Dabo’s had the Tigers ready to play ever since the off week gave him time to reflect on the gravity of his situation. I believe he had a little “come to Jesus” meeting with all the coaches (certainly with Napier) and it seems to be paying dividends in a more focused, more prepared, more physical performance from the players and the coaches. When you consider the youth and inexperience at QB, OC and HC, it’s easier to understand what this team is likely going through. And while they are certainly not out of the woods yet, they seem to at least have a compass and are walking in to the light.

It was great to have a chance to let some of the less experienced players in the game against Coastal and wow, did it ever pay dividends. Andre Elliington really shined on his 55 yard TD jaunt, Jamie Harper finally moved the pile and Jerron Brown atoned for some earlier miscues against Maryland with a stellar reception and run after the catch. The O-line was outstanding and Michael Palmer was still out with his injury. And speaking of injuries, we will miss Daquan Bowers for sure, but having Michael Palmer back in the offensive line should give us an equal, yet opposite, boost. He’s gonna be playing on Sundays real soon, ya’ll.

Hopefully, we’ll get some good weather this Saturday and Lord knows we deserve some. I can’t remember a season when we’ve endured so much rain on home game days. Imagine what CJ’s stats would look like if he could REALLY make his cuts on dry ground? Hopefully, he will show us this Saturday. Hopefully.

Go Tigers! Nail the Noles!

I still believe in our team and the coaches and the direction of the team. Last Saturday, we took on TCU and gave them everything they could handle. No, I’m NOT satisfied with a loss, but YES, I’m encouraged with this young QB and the potential for more. Our receivers need to get better. Catch the ball, men! Please.

And it was raining cats and dogs and each team faced adversity and missed easy field goals and finished the game. C’mon Tigers! We should have won that game! AT HOME!!!!!

Yet, somehow, we did not. We have the tools, we have the equipment, we have the leaders and the coaches, we should NEVER LOSE A GAME IN DEATH VALLEY EVER AGAIN!

It is so easy to feel that way, but the truth is a little harder to take. We’ve drunk the “kool-aid” and believe that all of our players are “superior” and perhaps they are. But, perhaps, they’re not. We need to stop blaming the coaches and realize that every single game presents new challenges, and NEW opportunities as well.

It’s shining time, and let’s see who can shine. I know my Tigers are UP to the challenge. I know it.

The Clemson Tigers are off to a 2 and 1 start for the ’09 season and I, for one, am not disappointed. Our young coaching staff, peppered with experienced veterans and many with past Clemson connections, is finding their path. I expected there would be some missteps, which there have certainly been, and expected some overly optimistic fans to be critical regardless of the record, and there have been. But all in all, I give them a B- on the first quarter report card. It is a long season and there is much work to be done, but to be 2 and 1 right now is right where I would’ve predicted, if I did things like that.

For starters, Middle Tennessee is good. They just beat Maryland...again! And Ga Tech is NOT good, bur after we recovered from what has to have been the worst quarter of football a Clemson team has played in a decade, our beloved Tigers recovered to play a respectable game and came within an eyelash of winning. I wonder how many Tiger fans were running to eBay to cancel their auctions for their season tickets about mid-third quarter :-)! Such is the life of a “fair weather” fan, I suppose. Not me. I’m a Tiger fan win, lose or draw.

As for the next 3/4 of the season, it is going to be tough. TCU will come to Tiger Town prepared and ready to show the country that they can win in a tough environment and against a team that that has a national reputation. I know that Dabo and Kevin Steele will have them ready for the challenge. Fla State and Miami have shown signs of returning to the prominence that their fans grew accustomed to a decade ago. And with UNC coming on and Va Tech always a challenge, it will not be a bowl of Jell-O brand pudding, but I think our Tigers have as good a chance as anyone else in the ACC to bring home the title this year.

The TCU game will be pivotal to the confidence of our players and coaches...and fans, for that matter. We saw that our savant “red shirt frosh” QB is human after all, but I believe that he will take some positive things away from his sub-par performance against BC. But I truly believe that KP is a winner. And what can you not say about Richard Jackson. You can call him “Mr. Jackson” if you’re nasty!
I only wish Dabo had let him kick #7 at the end of the game when we were running out the clock. I guess that’s what you call ‘class’ in a head coach, but giving RJ the all-time record for FG’s would have shown some ‘class’ as well. Jackson’s been warming the bench for three years while we’ve lost AT LEAST two games each of those years due to sub-par kicking. There’s no doubt that he’s a star kicker and should be used as such. I’m scratching my head on that one. But regardless, I’m lovin’ it for my Tigers and for young Richard.

Onward and upward!

<itunes:summary>The Clemson Tigers are off to a 2 and 1 start for the ’09 season and I, for one, am not disappointed. Not me. I’m a Tiger fan win, lose or draw.As for the next 3/4 of the season, it is going to be tough.
Wow, what a season! I don’t know if you guys and gals have felt it, but it has certainly been a roller coaster for me. Starting out with all those games back to back to back to back to back and then having TB resign, and the mixture of early games with a Thursday game and a week off and then this...whew. I feel like we’ve started a second season.

Just in the nick ‘o time.

I know many of you feel like something’s been lifted off your shoulders with the resignation of Coach Bowden. Good for you! I don’t. I feel like we were abducted by aliens, driven around in a shiny new spacecraft for a couple of weeks and promised that things were gonna be real different when we woke up. I’m still waiting. And it’s not like I need them to be different. I like 8 and 4, 9 and 3, and a bowl game every year. No offense, but I also like players that love Clemson, love the opportunity to be at a school like Clemson and love playing with one another and experiencing what Clemson is all about. Notice, I didn’t say Clemson “football”, but I said “Clemson”.

This may come as a shock to some of you, but Clemson football ain’t all that. Sure, we won a NC 27 years ago, but before that, not so much. Ahem ... I was at Clemson in the early seventies and the Pepsi-Cola bottling company released a “commemorative bottle” after a 7 and 4 season in 1974 because we were undefeated “at home”. That’s how bad we had been for many, many, many years up until then. This “winning tradition” thing, while not exactly a “hoax”, is certainly an exaggeration. Yea, Frank Howard made some noise occasionally and was certainly deserving of his rep as a character through the 40’s, 50’s and 60’s, but he was no Bear Bryant or Joe Pa and his record proves that perfectly well. He could, however, spin quite a tale. And yes to the younger gen, the late 70’s and decade of the 80’s was exciting and stellar for Clemson football. Absolutely something to toot our horns about. But 15 years of outstanding football does not a legacy make.

I know many of you will disagree with my appraisal and that is certainly your prerogative. My bar is lower than yours. I am proud of my university and proud of it’s reputation and proud of the athletes that have represented Clemson and will continue to represent Clemson in the future. I want all of them to go undefeated in every sport every year. Go Tigers! But I know that is impossible and totally out of my control.

What I believe we all need to come to grips with is that these are “student athletes” first and foremost. They put unreal expectations on themselves because most of them are superior athletes in the first place and are being rewarded for that with scholarships. They KNOW they are supposed to perform. They expect that from themselves. They really don’t need you and I putting even MORE pressure on them. They’ve got the “expectation” thing covered.

What they NEED is our unfailing support and encouragement.

And possibly even more than that, they need us to understand that they are always doing their best to represent not only Clemson University, but their families, their communities, their high schools, their faith and themselves. That’s plenty of pressure for a 19 or 20 year old.

Don’t you think?

So, the next time you’re walking in Clemson, just look around and take a deep, deep breath and think to yourself what make this place so special for you. It works the same for all of us. Whether you’re a student, a student athlete, a teacher, professor, employee or fan, walking in Clemson is an experience that endures and inspires greatness. Not just on the field of athletics, but in the field of life.

Yaba Dabo Doo! I wouldn’t have believed it if I didn’t see it with my own two eyes. TDP “let” TB go. It must have been a little hotter on that seat than anyone figured. I am disappointed that, given the opportunity to coach out the year and let the chips fall where they may, Tommy said, “why don’t I just go ahead and resign, now?” I guess that proved that his heart wasn’t in it.

And perhaps it never has been.

Regardless, the way Tommy handled the demotion of Harper and the promotion of Korn displayed a total lack of sensitivity toward his team. I don’t know if that was the final straw, but is certainly was a co-contributor. When I heard him describing that he’d “left a message” on Harper’s cell to alert him of the demotion, I thought, “bad idea”. Then, for Korn to learn of his “pro” motion via the internet just made me feel sorry for those kids. Tommy WAS as aloof as his public persona. I’ve heard many try to stick up for him saying that he was such a “different” person than his image reflected. I’m not so sure. It is certainly the impression that I was left with the very first time I met him and it really never changed over the next nine and one half years.

Though Tommy DID manage to improve his image over those years, his arrogance and demeanor with the press was often right at the “edge”. I’m certain that Tommy is a good father, husband, brother, son, man and Sunday School Teacher. Right now, in fact, I’ll bet you that he’s the highest paid SS Teacher in the country. Good for him. It is certainly not his fault that he was able to negotiate a wonderful severance package. Isn’t that what capitalism is all about? If fans want to get angry about something, get angry with TDP for extending his contract AND “Orange Parachute” after the season last year. I guess it’s like the ol’ cowboy who took off all his clothes and jumped on the cactus out in the middle of the desert. It probably seemed like the thing to do at the time.

Good luck Tommy Bowden. Your career at Clemson will be remembered for many good things you accomplished while HC . . . higher graduation rates, updated facilities, upgraded recruiting, the discipline and character of your players and much more. Yep, a pretty decent legacy, for sure.

Dabo Swinney hasn’t wasted much time putting his mark on the program. From the “Tiger Walk”, to coats and ties on game day, three point stances and student-player pep rallys, it seems that he must’ve been plotting this for some time. It will be interesting to see if any of that translates to the field on Saturday. I think it was also telling that Dabo decided to let Rob Spence out to pasture with Tommy. It appears that his reputation as the “mad scientist” may have only been half right. His offense certainly has had some problems this year and they can’t all be blamed on the o-line. Still, it seems to me to be a tough assignment to replace the OC mid-season.

Lowered expectations should give Coach Swinney the needed space to let all this sink in with the team and his coaching staff. You gotta love his attitude. Let’s hope that “playing like you hair’s on fire” becomes what Dabo’s teams are known for. And whether he succeeds or exceeds expectations or not, he appears to be the right prescription for this Tiger team that was so desperately in search of some sincere leadership. Hey . . . maybe that’s it! Sincerity!

I remember hearing once that the secret to a successful relationship was sincerity.

Once you learn how to fake that, you’ve got it made.
Well, that’s all ya’ll! If you ever believed that a “free market” could solve it’s own problems, you learned a valuable lesson today. Regulation, which most on the right have consistently lobbied against, suffered a major set-back today as the big “Bail Out” was passed unconstitutionally by the US House of Representatives.

Firstly, the Senate is prohibited by the US Constitution from introducing ANY spending bill in to the “House” using the people’s money. Well, there they go again, ignoring that “damned piece of paper” as Bush called it, to bail out the very criminals that were the culprits who created the need for the tax payer “bail out” in the first place. We are, in all actuality, loaning them money that they will in turn loan back to us at interest! Brilliant!!! Don’t you think?

This spells the end of the experiment started by our forefathers in 1776. They warned us about this day many times. We didn’t participate. We deserve what we get. I hate to admit that, but it is true. We are now officially a fascist nation.

The people have no voice, making it a Fascist Dictatorship.

Goodbye, my dear, dear, America. Sweet dreams.

Proving that there in fact “are” a few decent humans in DC, this brave representative from Ohio “let’s them have it”. It was caught on C-Span, but the house floor, unfortunately, is pretty m-t.

This proposed “bailout” is nothing but financial terrorism...an economic “911”. The only difference is (and I have tremendous doubts about what I am gonna say) this one is being conducted by our “own” government. Rep. Kaptur does a great job describing the who, what, when, where and how of the situation. Please pass it on and also call your senators and representatives to voice your opinion on this. And do it with conviction. Many congress members have a conflict of interest in the matter and SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO VOTE on this issue. They are the ones with investments in Sachs, Lehman, AIG, and any number of other billion dollar corporations who have donated $ to both sides of the aisle. We cannot continue to let them “privatize” the profits while “socializing” the losses, as so eloquently stated by Rep. Kaptur. Let them reap what they have sewn.

On a side note...what is it about Ohio? Rep. Kucinich introduces 35 articles of impeachment against “dubya” (also to an m-t house) a couple of months ago and now this ballsy lady? But they let ‘em get away with stealing the last two elections in the same state? There’s definitely something ‘bout Ohio...

(That’s the Big “E” there on the left. Elizabeth and I had too much going on when we got married on April 14 ’07 to take a honeymoon then. We had a wedding and Elizabeth’s daughter graduating HS, and all that goes along with that. Did I mention we had a wedding? Ahem...anyway, we took a one-year anniversary honeymoon to The Couples Resort in Negril, Jamaica and WOW!!!! It was awesome.

We will definitely go back sooner than later. We made lots of new friends and found out some things about ourselves...like Elizabeth is REAL competitive. At Bocci, she HATED to lose. And I found out that me and crab cakes don’t get along, unless I want to strip the paint off of the bedroom walls! :-) All of the employees at the resort spoke perfect English...probably better than most South Carolinians that I know. And they were SO polite and attentive, you almost (I said almost) felt guilty.

We only travelled outside of the resort once, and that was to play golf at one of the most beautiful “goat track” golf courses that I have ever personally played. There were literally “goats” on the course. Ha! Can’t be much more of a goat track that that! (reason is, there are goats everywhere in Jamaica). But it was still awesome and as I said earlier, I would recommend it to any and everyone.
